Francesca Millican-Slater is artist in residence at The National Waterways Museum

Earlier this year The National Waterways Museum won funding to host an Artist in Residence, and Francesca is delighted to be working with them.

Her aims across the residency are:

- To create something new, that has a legacy and continuity

- To offer a different, performative experience to visitors than what is currently available at the museum

- To engage a new, wider audience by performance, interaction, workshops

- To promote and encourage use of and visibility of The Inland Waterways Archive
