Visiting Lecturer at University of Birmingham (2012 - 2019)

Creative Industries:

I led this 3rd year module which covers aspects of producing, project management and administration required to successfully produce professional theatre work. In addition to running the 10 week lecture series I mark formal presentations, and academic essays associated with the module. 

Contemporary Practice (2012 - 2017):

I have supported this 3rd year unit since 2012, seeing work-in-progress performances from students, offering industry feedback and guidance. In addition I deliver specialise seminars in marketing and fundraising.

Visting Lecturer at Birmingham City University (2015 - 2019)

Arts Administration (Stage Management):

Working with 2nd year Stage Management Students to lead and deliver this contextual unit, designed to give them an understanding of the range of organisations they might work in professional contexts. I Structure assignments and mark academic essays in relation to course teaching. 

Professional Practice and Administration (Applied Theatre): 

(2015 - 2017)

Leading this 10 week lecture series, giving students key understanding and context ahead of undergoing a 6 week professional placement. Working alongside unit leader to mark placement presentations and associated essays. 

In addition I have delivered one-off guest sessions for Newman University and The Worcester University.
